Gone are the days of aesthetic problems with pool interiors and costly refinishes. The problem that exists with marcite - the old mainstay of finishes - was its temperamental disposition. Unbalanced and mineral-infested source water could mar the plaster finish with everything from staining to etching.

The new “Marquis” line of pool finishes has proven to be more durable in pool water. The finish consists of small quartz rocks and white cement. The quartz rock is available in a variety of colors and produces a natural looking speckled finish which is designed to resist stains, etching and ugly blemishes. Best of all, it provides a safe, slip-resistant finish that resist chemical abuse.
